01592 - Air Quality Sensor (G238) 010 - Open or Short to Plus. Work performed so far. Having made use of the excellent search function and resultant information on the forum, I last night changed the Aircon Pressure Switch which has eliminated the 00229 - Refridgerant Pressure fault code. The 01592 - Air Quality Sensor remained.
Remove the torx screws inside and underneath the glove box. T. Remove the cover above the gear lever/ just pry down and pull forward. There is a hidden torx screw inder this cover. Remove the bottom a pillar trim on passenger side / wiggle out. Remove the dashboard end cover on passenger side.

I've noticed that on some settings the aircon doens't turn on, but on others it does. I think it's todo with how it circulates the air on certain settings it isn't feasible for the air con to work properly so it disables it. Try switching it so that the fans are facing towards you, putting the fan speed to 1 and then turning the air con on. 5 posts · Joined 2013. #3 · Jul 14, 2013. Hi here are the codes. Sorry to bring back a dead post, but mine is doing the same thing. I get air out of the dash vents on the far left and right, as well as the vent at the base of the windshield. However, the center dash vents and the vent on top of the dash do not turn on at any setting. If anyone has any info on this it would be great.

What happens is over time they: 1) can get sticky from lack of use. 2) They loose their correct positioning (fully open or fully closed) due to the motor slipping a cog. 21662 posts · Joined 2009. #2 · May 27, 2010. check the fuse atop the battery firstif that's good, then disconnect the fan plugs and jump 12V to each fan. if they both work the issue could be the fan control relay or low refrigerant in the system. to check the refrigerant you need tools, and you'd be better off going to an a/c tech to

With ECON de-selected the air con compressor should engage and the fan should run to draw air over the condenser. If the fan is not running it's more than likely the resistor on the low speed circuit has burnt out. q2TYtrr.
